Atrocities
between Israel and the Gaza Strip have escalated resulting to several deaths on
both sides. An apartment that was
shelled by the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip caused death to three innocent
occupants. At the Gaza Strip, a young
boy and his pregnant aunt perished when an explosion ripped through their
home. The clashes, after 22 days,
resulted in the death of around 1,200 Palestinians on attacks made by Israel.
The
seemingly major and bitter confrontation has caused fears in Tel Aviv as
long-range rockets have been fired at the capital. The city of Rishon Lezion, which just around 40 miles
north of the Gaza Strip has been also hit by long-range rockets. No damages were reported. The conflict is expected to worsen as the
Hamas group does not have intentions to back down. Will Israel succeed in trying its best to
lower civilian casualties as it had learned its lesson in the past?
